Okay, I noticed that people were confused about my idea. Here's how the world of Amalur works. Wall of text incoming!
There are 3 recognized sentient species - the Humans, the Dwarves, and the Fae. All 3 are bound by the threads of Fate, a force only visible to the Fae and certain gifted Dwarves and Humans called Fateweavers. The Fae themselves are split into four different Courts based on the four seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. The Winter Court Fae have mostly been taken over by a Fae named Gadflow, set to follow his new Fate and become ruler of the world by conquering it.
Everyone in the world knows that Fate cannot be changed as is, and the Fae strictly live off of it through the repetition of reincarnating into specific roles for all of their lives, and so they feel that they cannot defy something that they are so delicately tied to. Humans and Dwarves, resistant as they are to Fate, are also powerless to stop the army of Gadflow, the Tuatha Deohn. However...
Dwarven scientists conjure a way to bring a soul back from the dead to use as a weapon against Gadflow. This soul, through a strange twist, is no longer bound by the threads of Fate - in fact, this soul... this Fateless One... can change the Fate of anyone and everyone around him just by existing, even going so far as to actually weaponize the threads of Fate itself. As such, it falls upon this Fateless One to change the Fate of the land of Amalur.
Now the idea that I have is that this scenario could somehow be changed to merge with the world of MLP. There are already three different sentient races of pony, and the world itself has its chosen ones in the form of the Mane Six. The problem here, though, would be figuring out how to go about doing it...
@David: Happy birthday!
