I still kind of want to see each of Mane 6 get her own personal nemesis. I dont know whether it would hurt or help the series in the long run, but it'd be interesting to see.

Beause most of my favourite stuff came out of the 80's

I'd like to have seen it when it was fresh

Indeed, wish you had been there. It was an AWESOME decade to be alive. There is nothing quite like opening a brand new NES game for the first time.

Granted, the Ponies we had back then weren't worth mentioning, but we did have the superior versions of Transformers and Dungeons & Dragons to make up for it.

I always wanted to learn more about warfare... is The Art of War worth getting?
Is that the one by Sun Tzu? He invented war!

My first Transformers was the original film. This means it is the best. Followed by Armada.

I don't get why anyone would want to live in the past.

I suppose growing up in the eighties was pretty cool. We had MacGyver, Airwolf, The Incredible Hulk, , Quantum Leap, Transformers, GI Joe, and the fall of the Berlin Wall.

[up][up][up][up] I'd be more patient than I am now... no internet...

I'm also a big fan of talking to people... none of this social networking/mobile phone bullshit

I grew up in the 90s and the 2000s I guess, not certain how long the traditional growing up length is. Anyways, 90s Spiderman was awesome.

[up][up] Social Networking is awful. My phone is about a decade old.

I don't get why anyone would want to live in the past.

I'd rather live in the future. As long as it doesn't go all dystopia like 99% of all Sci Fi predicts.

I already occasionally get bummed because it's exceedingly unlikely that we'll meet aliens or create AI in my lifetime (if at all). Why would I want to live in any time that's already happened? We have all the stuff and none of the horrific hygiene.

Well, a perfect utopian futurescape in real life probably wouldn't be the easiest to come by.

@Applelight, sure.

I don't get why anyone would want to live in the past.

Because sometimes things really did work better back then.

Admittedly I probably couldn't live without some modern conveniences, but if someone invented Time Travel and could set me up with a house and a new identity in 1980, and let me keep some modern-day stuff as long as I keep it a secret, I'd be all over it.

One thing I'd definitely bring back with me, is the capability to record TV to DVD.

Wouldnt want to live in the past, but it would be neat to visit, or at least be able to see into.

There was a book I read a long time ago that dealt with creating mini wormholes that you could somehow put a camera through and see to any time or place. It changed the world in both good and bad ways.

@Applelight: Who's that? It looks pretty good, although the eyes aren't really looking in the same direction.
