@Crowfall Sure he did. He proved that at least 3 people would rather read a good fanfic than a bad clopfic. (Though not that good and clopfic are mutually exclusive)

I've heard Romance Reports is really good. and personally, I like Twilight's Treatment, one with Twi's parents that I can't remember the name of, and Hot Pink

You don't see how there's a stigma against stories about horses having sex? Really?

I'm not saying I agree with the stigma, but it's hardly shocking that it exists.

My personal Stigma against clopfics comes from years of reading fics... From another fandom I partake in.

Well, a lot of the ones I read are humanized...

I just don't understand why it exists in THIS thread... you guys tell me to not overlook a story just becasuse it hasn't got a good villain in it (pouts)

I think whether clopfic can be good or not depends on how we're defining it; if it's a story with a primary focus on characterization that happens to include or be about sex, then they could be good. If they're written solely with prurient interests in mind I don't really think highly of them at all.

@Ginger: That's because the two things aren't really comparable. "Story doesn't have a good villain" is an entirely different thing than "porn fic featuring animal characters".

@ Steve, well it depends on to what the adjective "good" is refering to, if it's being used in a nedulous sense of "perceived as being good in general" or as "good story" then ok with maybe a .01% exception, your right.

But if it's being used soley to refer to it's status as a clopfic, thereby comparing it's "good" or "bad" ness soely with that of other clopfics, then yes it can apply.

Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
