Well, allspice certainly couldn't include the Spice of Dune, unless he's got the resources to get there and gather Spice without angering ol' Shai-Hulud.

Dune's pretty cool, but all the !Politics! can get bewildering sometimes. I'm seriously wondering if they actually play Three- or Four- Dimensional Chess in CHOAM or something.

@Dalek: Well it gets kinda hard to keep track of who's playing whom if you got distracted by another interesting minor character and then realised that you've lost track of how this noble or that Spacing Guild rep was going to pull an epic !plot! maneuver to get one step closer to getting a tighter hold on the Spice, also there's numerous attempts to make synthetic Spice which fail.

@Ginger: There are some books on the series too :D

Dune the movie is apparently pretty bad, while the books are widely regarded as sci-fi classics. I haven't read them, but that's just because I can't find them.
