Traditionally (by which I mean the most common depictions), the lineup appears to be

  • Scout: Rainbow Dash
  • Soldier: Spike (Buff!Spike optional)
  • Pyro: Pinkie Pie
  • Demo: Zecora
  • Heavy: Big Macintosh
  • Engineer: Applejack
  • Medic: Fluttershy
  • Sniper: Twilight Sparkle
  • Spy: Rarity

Although upon further reflection, I am inclined to believe Apple Bloom would be the better Engie, if you give her a couple years.

Also, scrounging around Ponibooru, I found Celestia as the Administrator, Iron Will as Saxton Hale, and Lyra as alternate Engie.

@Ace She's a toy-only pony whose special talent is "catching snowflakes." After joking that she would become a Memetic Badass, Bad came up with some lore about her that makes her talent very useful.
