Lol. For the longest time I hovered around 80 pounds. I think I finally hit 100 in 6th or 7th grade. Now I just hover around 130.

Oh, now we're talking about weight? The last time I checked I was around 450lb. Pretty light for my age.
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.

I wanna start taking Judo again, get in a bit better shape. I mean I'm not in terrible shape - I've barely any fat, but it's all centered around the gut. Pretty much all of my 250 pounds is muscle. Mostly I just miss being actually able to do stuff consistently without getting winded, and Judo is just plain fun.

(Plus, I imagine the flexibility, endurance and being good at wrestling and the like could have some potential... relationship benefits.)

last time I checked I was 90 kilos but I am about 1.86 meters so it isn't that bad I guess.[lol]

Yes Kegi! Everyone likes their men to be in shape wink

How about we have a TV Tropes workout group now? It's not like we need this thread to talk about ponies or anything like that.

I considered doing Judo once. For some reason I opted for Tai Chi instead during University.

I had the opportunity to take fencing classes, except none of the times worked with my schedule. :(

I'm hoping I can take them next year. Or some sort of fitness class. Maybe some form of martial arts could work...

@Apple: 40 kilos? that's not even a hundred pounds, isn't it? That's... come on, man. I can lift a fully grown man over my head.

Do MMA it's moar fun.

Pff. Please. I've seen MMA, it's just guys rolling around on the ground listlessly. Even when it comes down to Groundwork in Judo, there's still plenty of activity. Holds, arm bars, chokes, rolling around to get in better positions... not just lying there and hitting each other once and a while. And up top it's more fun too, since it requires more skill than "I hit joo!"

...MMA. If they're gonna do that, they may as well at least take their pants off...

Hi everyone. For some reason, my computer won't load the clip, but it sounds good from what you guys have been discussing. Also, that griffon in the screenshot is pretty cool. And was that Matilda in the background?

Also, on the weight issue, I'm really out of shape. Horribly so. But I don't care enough to get some exercise equipment, and I don't have the self-esteem to go to a gym.

I'm not sure if it's Matilda.

And Kegi, I think wrestling on the ground is really fun. And the Greeks did wrestle naked. Maybe we should bring back that ancient tradition wink
