@ginger: Sadly I think AJ's got Demoted to Extra a bit in the second season. Even in her own character centric episodes, other characters seem to be playing more noteworthy roles. Kinda ironic since she arguably got the lion's share of first season episodes.

DT probably shares Spike's knowledge of "villainy". Next episode they'll switch two ponies' soup orders in a restaurant. "And that is only the beginning!!!"

Evil has different degree Dalek, it isn't simple extremes. Her lack of empathy and remorse, her willingness to use blackmail and coercion to accomplish petty and selfish goals, she's practically one hoof in the door on her way to laughing manically while she makes countless billions of bits on the suffering of others and call it "pragmatic".

I've noticed that there are two or so characters that get the most prominant spotlight for each season. AJ and Twilight got most of the first season, having the most centric episodes or sharing them with other characters, or at the very least having some rather memorable moment in somepony elses'. This season seems to be Rainbow Dash and CMC. Wonder if season three will have a couple of 'leads' who get some prominant Character Development.
