I wonder if that force field is pony-specific? Like, if Anypony else could come in to rent a book, or if it keeps everypony away?

The one thing I found a little strange is how did everyone suddenly figure out that the CMC were Gabby Gums? Did Rarity spill it to everyone? Also, for the most part, Rarity seemed strangely more forgiving of the CMC than the other ponies. She was upset, but she actually talked to Sweetie Belle whereas everyone else was trying to shun them away. I was especially surprised that Twilight and Applejack were a lot less understanding than Rarity when I'd expect the reverse from them.

@ Ako, yeah I assume she told. And remeber, she was pissed to until Sweetie apologized, just like the rest of Ponyville, once the CMC admitted they messed up and apologized, they were fine.
