I don't like idea of Derpy being mother. I would prefer Derpy and Dinky being sisters.

Well, I suppose not that big if you operate under the theory that Ditzy's the same age as the mane cast. I don't know, though, we never really see enough character to get a feel for how ages look in equestria. I mean we've seen granny, whose ancient, Mayor Mar, who might be a little older, but only shows it in her hair, and Mr and Mrs. Cake, both of whom are probably only older looking because they were given different builds. I'm not sure if we've seen enough to really gauge age - after all, Lyra and Bon Bon are supposed to have adopted a daughter in fanon, and they hardly look older than the mane cast.

Just like Derpy to me.

Word of god has stated that they can, My theory on it is that different racial traits are different genes, and so while we can see the visible difference (which would be a single gene[yes I know that's still wrong]), while other 'invisible' traits are passed through in other genes. Which explains why Lyra was in Cloudsdale in 'Sonic Rainboom': She's part pegasus, so she gained the cloud-walking gene.

Lyra Mother◊ from Sonic Rainboom, she still look young, so Lyra is similar to Mane Cast Age (her flashback appirance are non canon) or ponies have longer lifespan than us, or time travel.

Time travel is my explanation for Lyra and other known backgroud ponies being in CMC flashback.
