They could almost work that outfit into an episode, if it was supposed to be hideous in-universe.

...I guess admitting the outfit was hideous would kill sales of the toy, though, at least among the real target audience.

I chalk up a lot of the toy "inaccuracies" to Hasbro planning these toys over a year in advance and when designing some of these toys, the designs of some of our favorite ponies like a certain gray pegasus or a certain green unicorn didn't exist nor did they know the reboot would be such a success with people of all ages.

I wouldn't be surprised if in a couple of years we'll get our white Celestia and our Ditzy Fashion Pony.

Cause you all want to dress up Ditzy Doo in pretty clothes and brushie brushie her hair.

Not sure why you assume that, Rich. The ponies of Equestria seem to reserve physical violence for a last resort against supernatural creatures, I don't think they'd go around killing people.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders Anthem was the by far the most underrated song in Season 1! That instrumental is fucking awesome

I think it's overshadowed by how absurd the performance with the actual singing in it was. But yeah, the instrumental is pretty awesome.
