Re: the Elements: They may be powerful, but there's a huge vulnerability. They require all six ponies to work. Incapacitate one and it's game over. And it's not like they can all stick together 100% of the tim. Return of Harmony showed just this (and to segue into a slight tangent, my longfic mercilessly exploits that fact).

I remember also working on a longfic that exploited this weakness.

But what I was getting at (and I gotta admit this is part of the reason I had writer's block about said longfic) is that there's really not anything about the mane six that suggests they'd make good Power Rangers. Pinkie Pie would probably crash the Megazord. No, seriously, I hope Zordon got that thing insured if he's gonna let a bunch of neurotic horses drive it.

@Moe Given the amount of damage the megazord takes I don't think its insurable. Plus you just stick Pinkie in the crotch she won't be able to do much harm there.
