Oh shit. I didn't do what it looks like I did, did I?

If you can't find it in a book, it doesn't exist. If you can find it in a book, it doesn't exist until I say so.
Trixie at the wedding would be epic.
I have apparently only come back in time for the fallout. I don't know what happened, and I wasn't exactly around for the incident, and either way I don't think it would be a good idea for me to pester the good moderaters further when they're already being appealed to. But I will say this: I don't know what went on, but Apple is normally a fun and cool person. I hope their suspension was a temporary time-out.
Anyway, moving on...
Time to read that review! For great justice!

Crowfall: There were the first three episodes of the second season, the two you mentioned, and then the flashback in "Family Appreciation Day", if you want to count that.
very nice J Teeth.
Only issue I have is trying to force an in universe answer for the wingpower addition errors when really, the only one that makes sense is a simple
Writers Cannot Do Math. The characters didn't goof, it was all on the writers.

Right, I forgot about Lesson Zero. I'm gonna need to rewatch the whole season soon, its been awhile since I've seen the earlier episodes.
I also like to think that some of the pegasi were weakened by the disease but were not yet under the full effect from it.
Another interesting fact I found while looking up that information was that "Hearts and Hooves Day" is so far the only episode where Princess Celestia wasn't even mentioned.
I agree, it's fun to find the in verse explanation, and I'm noramlly all for it and one of the ones trying to find it. it's just, in this case, I can't think of a single in verse explanation that both makes sense, and doesn't relay on Twilight getting a math problem wrong.

I think someone else mentioned it off hand on this thread, so I can't claim credit for that one. I just wish I remembered who it was... :(
@ Crow, same here, I'm normally very Wartsonion, it's just this is the rare case where I cn't find a a non-Doyilst answer that doesn't make the characters look like idiots.

@Mio: I just assumed that she was the only one who knew how to work the machine. RD is the one heading the thing off and is the professional flier, so I figured it was more likely that she'd be the one who figured out wingpower and stuff, especially she first notes the total that she needs before Twilight ever enters the episode. But yeah, it's largely an interpretive thing.
I generally prefer a Watsonian approach, but here I'll have to agree with Mio on the multiple writers bit.

There are pictures of Celestia on the walls of Cheerilee's classroom, which showed up in "Hearts and Hooves Day".
Why is it so implausible that RD made a math mistake or was overoptimistic?
