According to the costume shop in "The Ticket Master", there is a Pony Santa.

Also, @ginger, there doesn't seem to be a G2 Cheerilee. I think the G1 cartoon My Little Pony Tales had a teacher; is that who you're thinking of?

Pony!Santa is just Luna in (a very bad) disguise. Ever since her return, Luna's been in charge of the holidays. Why do you think she didn't appear in "Hearth's Warming Eve".

Celestia: "I'm very glad to have you back, dear sister, but I'm afraid there isn't much for you to do... I took over most of your duties and I... I'm not certain I know how to stop."

Luna: "Oh... hm. Well, perhaps I shall be able to find another duty to uphold."

-Months Later-

Luna: "Sister, sister! I have found a new duty to uphold!"

Celestia: "Oh? and what is that?"

Luna: "I read in a book about an alicorn who gave gifts to good ponies, but I recalled getting no such gift on hearth warming's eve! So I went to his home in the north pole and I found nothing! I believe he may have grown to old and died, so I can uphold his duties now!"

Celestia: "Ah, dear sister, you didn't find anything because he does not exist. He is a story for f-"

Luna: "And that is not all! I looked up more of these such figures, and they all seem to have passed! I will be very busy if I wish to take on all their duties from now on!"

Celestia: "Well that really isn't necessary. You see they-"

Luna: "Oh, but the foals will be so happy, I'm sure! In time they will come to love me again, sister! I'm so happy!"

Celestia: "Ah... yes, well... good luck, sister."
