Wow, I never thought of the connection to voting.
So the moral is, even if everyone else gets to vote lots of times, it's still worth it in case some of the voters are sick and you're the deciding vote?

The message came across as every little bit helps. So I guess you could say that it was a message about voting but it takes a bit of association to get that message.

Nope they haven't said if she's elected but I think remember her being worried about a scandal because something went wrong.

I have to admit that I don't think I would have made the connection to voting unless it was pointed out; it seemed to me to be a pretty straight "Just because you can't contribute as much as others doesn't make your contributions worthless". I think the voting analogy doesn't work that well because in a vote, everybody's votes are equal; the episode was more about still being able to help even though you aren't especially skilled at something.
