When I saw that the bow-hair purple pony was named Flitter, I thought "Yeah, she LOOKS like a Flitter'. It just fits.

@Ginger: I'm sure most pegasi would learn midflight hoof signalling, it's something like drivers using hand signs. Also we were outside the vortex and wouldn't have heard her because wind blockage can cause noise isolation.
