The numbers thing only fails if you assume that 1+1=2. When you get a bunch of objects hurtling through the air like that there's things like air vortices and other things to consider. Birds fly in V-formation cuz flying kinda behind someone/something requires less effort than flying alone.

It was nice seeing lots of pegasi as we usually see less of them than earthpony's or unicorns.

I must say that I like earth ponies more since starting my fanfic though.

The E Ps are considered boring yet practical, that's why so many people prefer unicorns and Pegasi. They prefer races that have flash

@Ginger: I don't really have a favourite race. My favourite character is a unicorn and my second favourite is a pegusus, but both are for reasons that have nothing to do with their race.

I identify with them and appreciate their flaws.

@Seraph I know. I know. It just seems like there are loads of people who say "I like E Ps now" or "I've grown attatched to them through this thread"

There must be a reason why they weren't liked as much beforehand.

@Chad: So am I, but imagine self-sustained flight. There'd be no reason for the fear, and the sheer sense of freedom it must have... I really enjoy flying in a plane, too, so I can only imagine what flying on your own must be like.

I admit this is the reason that the two main characters of my fanfic are respectively a pegasus and a unicorn. It's just so much easier to make fun stuff happen when your characters have more tools available to be completely irresponsible with.

That said, I was rather sad that I didn't have room for a third main character to fill the earth pony slot. I had some nice ideas for that one, but I had enough trouble managing the two main O Cs plus the show's cast that I decided against it.

Oh, well. Can't be helped. Applejack still best pony.

Kayeka is learning how to draw. Feedbacks, hints and protips greatly appreciated. The DARK CUBE wills it!
