Close as they are to nature, I'm sure they're aware of the fact that some creatures eat meat. And besides, Eating meat is probably the same to them as eating, say, silicon or something. Their digestive tracts can't handle it, but that wouldn't make it morally wrong, just weird. Eating another pony, on the other hand...

Hi. Finally gave in and starting watching this.

It has its weak points, but overall not bad so far. I finished watching episode four and after a quick search on YouTube I did not find a clip of Twilight's moment of Added Alliterative Appeal, so I uploaded my own.

Do you think Spike is an Omnivore? He seems capable of eating the same things the mane cast can eat, but it doesn't look like he particularly enjoys them. He definitely loves gemstons, we know that much

Hey, I have a suggestion for future PMV Purgatories, if you're up for suggestions; a bit from 8 Bit Theater Chaos.

Spike is Extreme Omnivore, he eat muffins with living (heat resistant) earthworms.

I know there are kind of creatures from animal cartoons who are okay to eat. But I think that Dragon eat and probaply eated many sentient animal, but they propably prefer somethign like gems or other similar things.

And about others eating meat, is maybe same problem as in most of animal cartoons where other animals (source of meat) are sentient or pets of characters so not OK to eat.

Fluttershy feeds animals fish.

Same animals she feed with carots.

Carrots are not the point. The point is Fluttershy feeds animals fish. Meaning that she presumably finds nothing immoral about eating things with hearts and brains and things.

Because they are fish, another creature fel victim to being okay to eat in cartoons.

But I will never go that far to sugest that she find eating meat amoral.

Nopony in show mention that predators are evil.

Yeah, but the animals in question probably eat fish. She's just giving them what they normally eat.

Some where on this wiki is mentioned that those animal don't eat fish.

Ferrets are carnivores. It's wildly inaccurate in "Winter Wrap-Up" when they give them a basket of vegetables.

People keep bringing up Dark Pinkie, but does anyone remember when Dark Pinkie debuted? I think it was Episode 2◊.

Yup, this explains Episode 25. Pinkie went and soaked herself after Spike told her what she wanted to hear.

Does Pinkie look a little more muted in color in "Swarm of the Century", too, or is that just me? She's annoyed at her friends, though, for not listening to her...

So I was watching Griffon the Brush Off and something bothered me.

Other than the spicy Vanilla Lemon Drops, Rainbow Dash sets up every prank to only be set off by Gilda, she directs her to the faulty drinks, the snake tube was a gift to Gilda so she was the only one who would open it and since Gilda was the guest of honour Rainbow Dash would have to realise that Gilda would try to blow the candles out.

Heck even the Vanilla Lemon Drops sounds as if she really likes them and Rainbow Dash as a long time friend of Gilda would know the food she'd go for first.

So either Rainbow Dash was lying in front of everypony or she was covering for Pinkie Pie (the first prank was done by her after all).

I have no proof to back this claim up, but my gut is telling me that Pinkie knew about all the pranks, and was trying to guide Gilda into all of them. Her behaviour ("I Got my EYE on YOU", and her response to "I'm watching you") seemed a little suspect to me

Alternately, it's Pinkie Pie. She is always like that.

Maybe she's so crazy she was doing it by accident and didn't realize it. OR, maybe she DID trick Gilda into most of the pranks (except the last one), because she knew no one would expect her to do that BECAUSE she's crazy (really, imagine her doing something as logical as getting revenge on someone who hurt your friend's feelings).
