@Kuroi Okay then. What do you want me to do?
If I have no valid points and no argument, then something is bugging about this show that I can't quantify in any way. Regardless of everything you people say. Twi showing that much Magical skill annoys me. If I say that, you'll ask why. I give reasons. You refute them It doesn't change the underlying feeling of annoyance.
It's like when everyone went to great lengths to justify Evangeline's personality in Negima! None of it stopped me from finding her fucking insufferable.
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
Mage: Not all that often for either, really. Or even for the rest of the main six. They usually have to work together.
Everypony in Equestria has their own badass factor? Makes sense if you think of them as being distant-future descendants of the ponies who survived Dream Valley and Paradise Estate. They killed the Dark Emperor Tirac! They survived the ancient superweapon Lord Smooze! They survived several breakdowns of the world and the climate disaster that was the destruction of Flutter Valley. No wonder the modern Equestrian Ponies are so much tougher than our Terran ponies.
@ preview, is it just me, or

@L Mage: Like I said before, the structure of the show means that most conflicts are based around personality rather than skill. The central plots are always more about characters flaws than anything else.
Plus, AJ is indeed the element of Honesty. Twi is the element of Magic.
except only one of those solved any problems. rarity's wings turned out to cuase a bigger one. And the whoe time travel created the problem it was supposed to solve.
Yes she got rid of the Ursa and got them away from the dragons, but fights are not the conflicts this series is bsaed on, those can't be solved by magic.

If you're going to talk about spoilers for the next episode could you please spoiler them?

Plus, Lesson Zero, where she was her own worst enemy.
Mage: That's because Twilight is in a lot of episodes. Much like Pinkie. Fluttershy and Applejack, less so.
@L Mage: That's because in season 1, Twilight was the main character. Season 2 spreads it out a lot more. Not to mention that yeah, some skills are more generally useful. Doesn't mean that everyone else is useless, especially when said skill has a tendency to backfire.
