Their engineering standards do seem to be a bit subpar. I shudder to think how many ponies died in their space program. It's probably worse than the Soviet's saftey record.
Twi is one of the first ponies to really check stuff. I wonder if there are any ponies with a bright future as safety inspectors.
At least ponies aren't what you'd call a malignent hazard.
