OK, Stuff happened at college today. My friend had an argument with someone over comments of Facebook. The comments were just jokes, but he took them seriously as they were making fun of his weight. (there is more to this, but I'm not saying as I'm not too sure and I'd rather not guess and get things wrong). Anyway, after the fight, which made it clear that the person who made the jokes was offended at the lack of trust that the comments were only jokes, not personal attacks. I had a talk to my friend about why weight joke deeply offend him, but other jokes don't. Long story short, I managed to get to the root of this. He thinks he is a fat ugly person, but doesn't want to get fit due to not wanting people to only like him for looks instead of his personality (Again, there is more, but I don't wish to mention too much, some of it is personal). Long story short, I comforted him and game him tips on how to start dealing with it. He thanked me and was even in tears about it. I honestly am proud of myself for doing this. Its things like this that lets me know I am not wasting my life. How is helping others anything other than a good thing?

EDIT: oh yes, I need to go for a while, Parents evening. Between these and the test I did, Its been a full day...
