Does anyone know where I can watch Madoka Magica? I want to be sure of its. . .quality (or lack thereof) before i commit to buying any DVDs.

Why isn't Pinkie Pie in that pic. . .nevermind.

I was kind of holding out that a legal stream might exist. But I guess that is to much to ask for. Oh well, I'll just look around, maybe ask my brother.

Just search "Yesy fansubs" on google; that's the most high-quality group. And there are lots of streaming sites with the episodes if you don't want to download them.

hmm only 1 image in pooniburu under Shannara and it aint all the good, or decipherable, and really has nothing to do with Shannara...I wanna see a ponified Allanon, even though he's the pretty much the most powerful non-evil magic user in the story, I see him as being an Earth Pony, he just gives off that kinda feel.

I've given up on recommending series to Ginger, because (seriously, man) his definition of what makes a good villain is so specific that I couldn't for the life of me pick one who fit all the criteria.

If you stick with it, Ginger, the ending is glorious. That's definitely an 'if', though.

I would recommend Ginger watch Princess Tutu, but he already has, and loves it.

I recommend that all the rest of you watch Princess Tutu. It is the reason I like classical music at all, and so is indirectly responsible for my choice of career.

@Ginger: 1. That's only how some people view it. I personally think that yeah, there definitely is a villain. A very very subtle one. Most of the machinations are only evident when you really think about it, and 2. I think it's good enough that you should give it a shot anyway.

I say that Madoka does have a villain.

Just one who does good things as well.

And yes, the ending is the most glorious thing ever in my opinion and cemented it as my favourite piece of fiction ever.

@Ginger: The major villain is... well, more of an antagonist, since they're not, specifically speaking, evil. But here's the thing: (general ending spoilers) he doesn't lose. In fact, everyone wins. In a way.

@Ginger: Let me guess...you hate Sayaka...Sayaka bashing is the reason I left the Madoka thread.

I'm like Ginger is with Applejack when it comes to Sayaka.

I love Sayaka and the two of us share so much in common, it felt like personal insults.

@Red sorry, the fans being obnoxious about spoilers is what turned me off about the series from the get go. I've just gotten so tired of seeing spoiler boxes when discussing Madoka that I sorta snapped. Sorry.

Now I'm not an expert in story crafting per se, but caring about the main characters should be pretty damn important.
