As to ratings, you don't mean shit. really unless you have a Nealson box hooked up to your TV what you watch doesn't matter at all. All ratings are is what % of those people who are supposed to represent your average viewer groups are watching.

Or those that get called up for focus group testing/polling.

@Ginger: That sounds pretty cool, but I doubt it will happen. Having Twilight's brother turn out to be a bad guy is probably too difficult of a concept for a kids show like this. Unless he's being controlled by something and they purify him with the Elements of Harmony of course.

I go to Toys R Us every couple of weeks to look for Ponies. I have them all but there are certain ones I want for customization purposes.

And for some reason buying single ponies online is almost impossible. Its very easy to find the playsets but I cant find the playful pony sized ones for purchase on the web. Save for the mane 6 ...

I'm seriously considering picking up the set almost entirely because the Nightmare Moon toy looks pretty awesome. Having Vinyl and the rest of the set is just a bonus.

I highly doubt they'd ever tackle the issue of homosexuality in a kids show.

But just in case you mean commoners, I think that yes they do marry commoners, and the further down the line of succession the less quibbles.

@Storyyeller: Yeah, especially as stuff about sexual orientation isn't really that applicable to the target audience; they'd have no clue about what was going on. My guess is that either the bride or groom is going to go missing. It's a bit of a cliche, but the show has pulled off cliched stuff pretty well.

@apple: Nighty night.

@storyyeller: A sympthetic antagonist would be interesting to see (Nightmare was sort of one, though she was corrupted to be deliciously card carrying eeeevil). While most of the villains are fun in the show and even a bit likeable, they are mostly two dimentional in their antics, either bullies or For the Evulz types. A more tragic or greyer light antagonist with an at least semi poignant light may be a fun experiment for the show, eg. a Noble Demon or Knight Templar.

Luna should join Morbo in reporting.
