I saw her...I like it...but it was at the same time I saw Catsuit! Pinkie so ah...my mind was elsewhere.

Apparently a lot of the pages are said to filled with Natter and Thread Mode conversations.

Plus there are accusations of things being shoehorned into pages.

I'm fine with whatever happens as long as things don't suddenly get cutlisted.

Does anyone actually care about stuff like that?

I've seen thread mode discussions on other pages and it doesn't instantly scare me away from the page

I find myself being angered more than accepting whenever an editor changes something, because I realized I mistook this site for TALKING with people about something, not EDITING TROPES on it.

I'm afraid that if we go through with the cleanup the pages will all be shorter than Dethroning Moment o0f Suck. And DMOS is DANGEROUSLY close to beating the CMOH page in length.

Some people (particularly on The Trope Repair Shop board) really do care.

It certainly doesn't help that Fast Eddie the Alpha Admin really cares about that stuff to.

Why does no one argue about trimming Darth Wiki stuff but are quick about trimming Sweet Wiki stuff?

@Ginger: The complaint is basically that stuff like the Funny Moment and Awesome Moment pages are to bloating because people are literally adding every joke from the episode to the page. And to a degree, I can see what the complaint is; like half the stuff on there I don't think was good enough to merit mention on the page, but then again it's highly subjective by nature. The only criteria for putting it on there is "i found it funny/whatever", so there's no good basis for cutting entries either; only for trimming Thread Mode stuff and whatever.

@Superior: Yeah, but DMOS isn't linked from the main page, so nobody will even see it unless they're actively looking for it. I think it's dumb as well, but as long as it keeps the crap contained I can live with it's existence.
