@Syd my problem was with Now Present!Twi's attitude when she went into the past. Before she cast the spell she was sounding pretty light hearted, then when she's in the past she suddenly sounds deathly serious and desperate

Twi realized there was nothing she could do at that point, and also realized there never was anything she could do differently since it was a Stable Time Loop.

Or she was high strung because she was trying to get her message across because she didn't know how long the time limit was.

I wish Now-Present!Twilight had told Past!Twilight to "Shut up and listen!, " but I guess things had to unfold exactly as they did before.

I didn't really mind the re-used animation, BTW. It might actually save us from having a two-week break at some point.

I think he's wondering if it bothers anyone else that Twilight was so calm before she used the time travel spell, but high-strung when she went into the past.

Which is just a restatement of his earlier post, but I do know what you're talking about...

Yeah, my problem at the top of the page.

Twi's demeanour seemed to bob quite a bit during that scene, and I don't think Twi would've acted as panicked as she did. because it wasn't anything DESPERATELY important, just something she'd rather avoid

@Ginger: It might trigger some kind of Lactose Intolerance. Speaking from experience here, too much dairy products can give you indigestion and/or a bad case of the runs/trots.

Also, I still think that Rarity/Ice Cream dream gave Spike a megas hankering for ice cream

@Ace I was actually expecting that it would be some other sort of romantic gesture because of how similarly it as set up to that Spike/Rarity comic people kept posting a while ago.

Then again, with it you don't have sunlight creeping in on you before 5 AM.

Good morning folks. I figure the episode was passable overall. There wasn't a whole lot that surprised me, and a lot of the silliness was overblown. Thankfully both of those were tolerable. I swear it felt like they were treading already worn ground with the moral, though.

Oh, that comic. It would have been funny to have a brick joke made of that scene with Indigestion!Spike somehow being offered some ice cream by Rarity just at that moment
