Nope. I knew exactly what it would be.

So going over parts of the episode again, hearing things I hadn't before like apparently Celestia owns Cerberus and probably regularly inspects the gates to Tartarus.

And I think Twilight has been so out of focus may possibly be because there isn't as much opportunity for inter-cast dialogue or fun improv, Tara Strong is off in LA doing not just this show but gods know what else, and most of the other V As are somewhere in Canada usually close enough to do big old recording sessions together for funtimes.

Why is this only obvious to me now? Oh right, I was notice that the rest Mane Six barely have any lines this episode at all except for Rainbow and especially Pinkie.

I don't quite understand why Pinkie was doing that to Fluttershy though

Just finished watching the episode! I love how the Stable Time Loop worked out though I honestly saw it coming. And Pinkie Sense is referenced again!

Yeah, the loop was pretty predictable, but I enjoyed the ride enough that I really didn't care.

I liked that guard... he was nice.

Random!Celestia was awesome [lol]

I wonder what was going through her head at the time?

Wait. Did she raise the sun from INSIDE the Library?

Yeah I'd rather that Twilight recognized that she was in a Stable Time Loop and time travelled just to make sure the loop was complete. Then again she was very tired by Tuesday morning so I can understand that she wasn't thinking straight.

Maybe she was climbing down from the roof top?

Twilight's reaction made that bit XD

I loved the was Twi said "Huh, how'd I miss that?" really fast [lol]

Fluttershy rubbing Cerberus' belly was adorable

And Pinkie didn't cause issue for you despite her prominence? Huzzah, happy day!

[up] Nah, she was ok.

Didn't like what (or get why) she was doing that to FS at the beginning though

Wait, Twi thinks she can take Cerberus, and Cerberus apparently keeps THOUSANDS of monsters from escaping. Logic dictates that that would make Cerberus stronger than all those other monsters, right?

Well, if that's the case, and Twi can beat Cerberus, then she should have nothing to fear from the other escaped monsters, right?

Well, a prison guard keeps hold of a bunch of prisoners, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's "more powerful" than all of said prisoners now, do it?

Also, I like how in Spike's dream he just goes "Why yes, that is an ice cream house."

Twilight didn't defeat Cerebus though. Fluttershy tamed him and Twilight played with him. We can't know for sure whether Twilight could take Cerebus in a one on one fight.

Wasn't Pinkie just getting Fluttershy to help her carry party supplies?

[up][up] Ah, but Twi seemed to think she COULD take Cerberus

[up] and she decided to lump all of them on FS and not carry any of them herself because?

"Perfect birthday gift"

I love this episode. It wasn't big adventure (only offscreen) or big disaster. I even suspeced that Future Twilight wasn't really that damaged and I was OK that possibility and when it become true I liked it. Stable Loop In Time - whatever time travel :P, but it was used in funny way. And this episode showed that war is something what ponies can expect and Cerberous with stuff what he guarding.

I need to rewatch it in HD, but I think I rank after Luna Eclipsed or maybe after Lesson Zero.

And maybe Twilight is just really brave. She took on Nightmare Moon and Discord, after all.

By the way, I typed up the summary for the episode... and messed up the tropes section.

Note to self, if it takes longer than 20 minutes to type a summary, copy summary, back button, refresh, edit, paste, save. Now I feel silly... I know, I'll go back in time and warn myself not to save after taking more than 20 minutes to type the summary! Be right back guys!

Reading the article for the episode...

Groundhog Day Loop is one of the listed tropes. Uhh, hello? Please, people, before you list a trope on a page, please learn what the trope actually means.

Someone edit out Groundhog Day Loop when the page isn't locked anymore. Someone forgot the difference between that and a Stable Time Loop.

For that matter, But for Me, It Was Tuesday doesn't apply either. Just how many cases of trope misuse are in here?

Yeah. Remove it. There's nothing G Dish about this method of Time Travel.

And Twilight did beat an Ursa Minor at one point and she could call AJ and RD for backup if Cerebus got out of hand.

Groundhog Day doesn't even involve time travel...

I accidentally reset the tropes section when I was typing the summary. It took me an hour, I hit save, and it reset the tropes section, and now someone else has it locked out.

I just don't know what went wrong!... Wait, yes I do. My bad!

You guys have odd definitions of "beating."

Anyway, loved the episode... surprisingly. When I read the description, I thought it was gonna be awful. Boy was I surprised!

"There's only one way to stop the disaster now! We need to STOP TIME!" Classic!

Could've been a little better in some respects (I really hate how Twilight has been flanderized into an OCD Worrywort) but was much better than I expected.

I thing being forced back to the beggining of the same day is essentially the same as Time Travel. But yeah a Stable Time Loop and a Groundhog Day Loop are not only different but mutually exclusive.

Oh, this wasn't Flanderization. Lesson Zero was Flanderization.
