About the age thing, I'm 26, and do not approve of ageism against anyone, young, old, or middle-aged. I do remember the earliest Pokemon games, although I came into the series a bit late, close to the time Gold and Silver came out in Japan. I don't really think the newer games are necessarily easier (given the fact that the earliest games had easily exploitable glitches that could get you stuff like infinite Rare Candies and Master Balls), but I do think they are more balanced when it comes to the Pokemon types. I think I like all 5 Pokemon generations, both new and old, so I'm not going to be the type to say that only the newer or older games are good.

I wonder if I'm one of the few fans of the G4 ponies who also likes the earlier ones (I like G4 best but I still like the older series, particularly G1 but I also like G3 too), or is it more that the ones who bash the earlier series, especially G3, are a Vocal Minority?

Wow, that was hilarious, Twilight is being surprisingly calm about this whole time travel thing, also, how the hell do get a scar, lose an eye, and acquire a jumpsuit over less than a week? I mean really, "next Tuesday morning" sounds so much less impressive.

And you know what, I did not expect Twilight to distract herself from getting the message out but I loved that whole scene.

Now about this hurricane Fluttershy business, it seems a little weird to me tht they are intentionally creating a highly destructive weather pattern in order to induce the rainy season when it would make more sense to just have the weather Pegasi make rain when needed.

Furthermore, it's pretty clear weather control isn't even Fluttershy's job! Why would they possibly want her around for something like this when they probably have easy access to entire teams of Pegasi with probably more experence and courage, the entire premise suddenly stopped making sense!

@Rainbow as far as I can tell, G3 is generally disliked, but G1 is considered fine. Note sure about G2. In the middle perhaps?

Time travel = fine.

Asking someone to do a job they don't normally do, but is capable of doing = doesn't make scene.

Maybe Rainbow Dash recruited Fluttershy because she's asking every pegasus she knows. And she knows Fluttershy (and presumably knows that Fluttershy is good enough to at least contribute).

Wait, does Rainbow Dash work at the Cloudsdale weather factory in the first place?

And it's likely they only need a big contained tornado to suck up weather into the factory.

She's a Ponyville Weather Mare, but I'm assuming that the Weather Factory is like her organisations HQ or something.
