I wouldn't say that the TV Guide page is probably a hoax, because if it is someone went through a lot of trouble to reproduce a page and give a summary that, while incredibly news worthy, doesn't really troll the fandom enough to justify the effort. I'd lean more toward saying its true until next month's guide comes out and confirms/disproves it.
Especially if they have lived pretty separate lives.

Yeah, it doesn't bug me in the slightest. Not everyone goes around mentioning their siblings (especially since we ain't hearing EVERY conversation that the mane cast has ever had)

If Shining is Twi's really big bro, he might have been in training or something when she was born and she never saw around very much/ Cue her "I have a BROTHER?!" cry of surprise.
Well, Sweetie Belle was already an established character so her being related to Raity was the writers pulling a Wiggum and linking two previously unrelated characters. So it's a bit different.
So many friends. On the moon. For me.

Yeah, but there were still 10 episodes where Rare DIDN'T mention her sis for whatever reason

Torchwood played it for drama and pulled it off quite well too.

Or maybe he's younger, given that Twi seemed pretty confident in her knowledge of child care in Baby Cakes, despite what we know of how she spent her youth. I guess this could arguably be due to having Spike as her assistant and their sibling-like relationship, as well, but I think it's worth a thought.
Y'know, Rarity and Sweetie lived pretty separate lives. So this isn't that much of an ass pull.

Yeah, which would make him a teenager?
Getting hitched to a (presumably immortal) princess at that age? Not bad, dude

It doesn't seem like Armour and Twi are all that close either

Or Twilight's parents told her stories about when she was still little. *devil's advocate shrug*
you will go to the paper towns and you will never come back
Wait, if we take Twi to be about 21 to 23...SA could be about 18...18 and hitched to a babe of a princess? He's a playa!

god, I'm so conflicted. Part of me REALLY wants him to be an asshole.
An evil member of the Sparkle family after the throne. How awesome would that be?!

Thing is, there isn't any reason for Rarity to have talked about Sweetie Belle or for Twilight to mention her brother. In both cases, the siblings live somewhere else, so there isn't really any reason for us to have seen or heard about them. Like I'd probably complain a bit if we had had an episode where Twilight visited her home, or if her parents visited or something because in that context you'd expect for siblings to get mentioned. As is, there's never really been any point where it would make sense for Twilight or Rarity to talk about their families.

I kinda want him to be a
Jerkass but in the charming way that Eric Cartman and Bender pull off.

I just find it annoying that they decided to give Twilight a brother just for a season finale and probably never again afterwards unless its a minor shout out.
Wait, if he turns out to be a baddie...SWEET!

I would love it if Trixie, Gilda and the Flim Flam Brothers crash the wedding.
So many friends. On the moon. For me.

The first part is all about the mane cast getting the wedding ready. Convincing Cadence to go through with it and that Armour is a great guy. It ends with the wedding going off without a hitch... cue Armour turning evil and claiming the throne for himself. The last shot is of him Laughing maniacally atop his new throne
Ain't happenin' But I can dream!

This (posted in this tread before) says 100% unconfirmed. Myth Busted.
So SA is not related to TS.
Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.

No. It's just uncomfirmed. It hasn't been confirmed to be false either.
