"You detect the dreaded hand of my nemesis's arch rival, Viscount von Sausage Roll?"
Let's go... Fluttershy and Basil.
Well the Rainbow Dash presents version isn't too bad.
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
You know, I've noticed that I lurk far more than post in this thread, and I have worked out why. I never know what to say. I am socially awkward on the internet! XD
Anyway, all thinks considered, Cupcakes wasn't that bad. It was just uncomfortably close to something Pinkie could do... (not that close, but close enough for it to stick) Sweet apple massacre was far worse, though completely out of character.
The internet is the realm of chaos, but not all chaos is evil.

You should read Cheerilee's Garden. Or maybe you shouldn't. Or maybe you should.
Next week it's the time travel episode right? As long as Doctor Whooves has a cameo and Twilight time travels whilst wearing a fez and carrying a mop I'll be happy.

As long as it doesn't feature actual time travel, I'll be happy.

Why not, I love time travel plots! (yes, I am a
Doctor Who fan, why do you ask?)

I love time travel too!
Doctor Who,
Back to the Future,
Futurama: Bender's Big Score.....
Seriously though, fez-wearing, mop-carrying Twilight. Get on it Hasbro.

Ok, I just went though the My little brony site, here are a few things:
This is a fair point.
Fluttershy shouts alot in the latest episode too.
This makes more sense than it should.
YES!

@CDRW: I'm going to vote Trixie, if only because it'll get you some more readers early on. And besides if you think up more questions later it isn't like you could go back to redo characters.
It would be for the best I don't get a time machine, as I would do my best to cause a time paradox to test my theories on time travel. If I'm right, I would be fine (and incapable of causing one in the first place), If I'm wrong, the entire dimension explodes.

I like time travel too, but it's not something you can just add to a story. If you want any of your plots to make sense, it has to be a core element of the world building.

If you ever invent a time machine could you pick me up in it ten minutes ago?
WHY DIDN'T YOU DO IT?

The writers aren't stupid enough to have time travel become an easily doable thing in this show. That is definitely the most off-the-wall synopsis we've had yet, though. I don't think anyone is going to have any idea how this will turn out.

My theory is that its all a ploy by Celestia to test Twilight. Not sure what this test would achieve though.

@storyyeller So far, the show has been good with plots I thought would be bad or clichéd. I trust them to make time travel work in the setting. (though how the show will the answer the 'why didn't you use time travel to stop this problem' problem if they add it will be interesting. Twilight learns to not take the easy way out perhaps?)
@Dalek I forgot?
