Anyway, I don't ship anyone seriously. I like Gildash because I like Gilda, and I like Twixie because of It Takes A Village, but I'm nowhere near fan myopic enough to claim that there's any actual shipping going on in the show.

...Though to be fair, with slipping things like Gone with the Wind references, 'flying feather', and Bonbon wearing Lyra's saddlebag, I find it hard to believe that every Les Yay scene in the show (among the actual legitimate scenes, not "Pinkie's door has a heart on it OMGMGMG!") was unintentional. =D

I don't ship anyone. Does that make me weird? I just can't imagine romantic relationships between characters that have shown no signs of them before. That, and the fact that in shipping-land Everyone is Bi is really off-putting.

I find the production team have said there are aware of the Lyra/Bonbon ship so I think any ship teasing is deliberate there.

It seems more like Everyone is Gay in Shiptopia to me.

Cupcakes is more like the Naga Eyes of the MLP fandom (and even that is not exactly correct).

To be honest I think the "expanded universe" surrounding the fic is far worst then the fic itself.

Actually I take my above statement back. Agony In Pink of the MLP fandom is a more appropriate comparison.

Cupcakes really wasn't that bad imo. Cheerilee's Garden (it should have a trope page) is the most disturbing MLP fanfic I've ever read. Brrr....
