Okay, so, that actually wasn't that bad an episode. Aside from the irrational rabbit-rage, I enjoyed that quite a bit - Rarity and Pinkie were adorable. I do have to say, though, Crowind:
Really like that Fluttershy is calling Pinkie and Rarity out on being petty. Not only because it's true, but because it explicitly acknowledges to the kids watching that people can have negative traits and still be a good person overall
While both Rarity and Pinkie can and have been petty in the past, I don't think belittling them for having passion for their careers is really a good acknowledgement that negative traits don't make a bad person (because since when is enjoying what you do a bad thing?).
@Crow: Honestly, I'd disagree that Rarity and Pinkie are petty. Rarity is an artist - She has the drive to create, it's not like she can just ignore it. The results can't be pretty (Episode idea! One of the ponies get's so caught up in constant friendshipping they start missing their hobby!). What she makes could be construed as shallow, certainly, but there's nothing wrong with a little window dressing on the world. And Pinkie? Sure her parties may seem frivolous, but she throws them to make people happy, and it works. That's hardly petty.
Not everyone has to save the world.

Yeah, Neither of them are doing anything worthless. Every job needs to be done, after all, and they enjoy it.
Still, Hearing Shy go off on one to Pinkie was SO satisfying

@Red, keg: Oh, yeah, I guess Fluttershy never did apologize for it. I also thought that Fluttershy was being angry because they are annoying other people with their fussiness - but my mind kind of get the first part (petty) and crosses it with something else (being petty over other people minding their business). My bad!
