Ginger, that's sort of abusive relationship talk there. Blaming the victim and all that.

"You shouldn't dress so provocatively!"

I think I'm mixing metaphores here... but the point still stands. You can't really blame Fluttershy for Angel being an asshole like that. There's pushing you around, and there's being outright abusive. Angel slapped her in the face and threw her out of her house.

@kegi I was thinking more in a spoiled child sense. Is a a parent completely blameless if they raise a completely spoiled child and never say no to him?

This is assuming that Shy has had Angel since he was a baby, which we don't know is true or false

Those are just pets. Fluttershy is EXTRA caring of Angel from what we've seen. and it's most likely that she would've spoiled him more than the others while growing up

They aren't completely blameless, no, but you don't start solving the problem by getting mad at them.

Anyways, Angel is going well beyond spoiled brat here, he's in straight up bastard territory. A person doesn't just become that, they have to have a little bit of it inside them from the start. It kinda seems more like Angel would have forced his way into her good graces by being picky from the start, and he sort of became the 'official' pet because of it.

She did give him a bit of the stare, though. It's been proven that it's pretty damn hard to resist that.

Anyways, off to school! At least I only have to work for 4 or 5 hours today, instead of 13 like last week.

I have to wonder about the chronology of this episode. Just because Fluttershy is so wimpy, even compared to what we've seen of her before...

Something I noticed when watching the market scene in the beginning. I'll have to wait for an HD version to make sure but... it looked like Carrot Top was hanging out with Noi, the filly that was her little sister in "Sisterhooves Social".
