I actually like that Iron Will didn't fall for the Bugs Bunny bit.

and I didn't think that the shopkeeper who Pinkie did it to first deserved it.

and it was yet another moment where Pinkie reminded me of a Looney Toons character. so no, not a fan of that gag

He didn't go along with it though. He actually sussed out that something was wrong. I count that as not falling for it

Iron Will was barely a jerk. He put out a service and when people stopped him from approaching the pony who owed him money he didn't stand for it. Then when Fluttershy didn't want to pay he left.

As for why only Pinkie and Rarity show up in this episode, I think its been shown before that those two are the closet to Fluttershy, thus be more of a Tear Jerker when Fluttershy chews them out.

That's right, the show runners are going for maximum emotions, if that's even a thing.

@Bad but I think in Griffin it was made clear that Pinkie has a BIG soft spot for Shy.
