@ JT no she did raise the price, but this is a barter based economy, now a days you can't really do that because everything is owned by corporations and set a price the actual sellers can't deviate from.
The produce fair was more like a flea market, yes she set her price at 2 but Pinkie was trying to talk her down, perfectly reasonable thing at that type of stall.

I wouldn't even say he was an antagonist. He was providing a service, was absent most of the episode and when Fluttershy didn't want to pay, he just left. The antagonist was Fluttershy taking his lessons out of proportion.

I don't mind her passiveness. Then again she's one of my favorites because of her passiveness.

He's definitely supposed to be a jerk, although I don't think he realizes the extent of his jerkiness. I mean, his advice boils down to "yell and threaten until people back off". But I do think he thinks he's being legitimately helpful, so he's not all bad.
