My thoughts on the new episode: Cutiemark Crusaders Muckrakers! Yay!

If nothing else, it should be entertaining to see them attempting to get paparazzi cutiemarks. Especially if it sticks with one of them.

totals are Main focus of the episode/split focus with another pony. the two "others" are Luna and Granny Smith.

So most ponies got two focus episodes either to themselves or shared with another pony. The only major exception being Scootaloo on her own instead as part of the 2 CMC as a whole episodes.

I'm back for a while, but I'll probably leave before the livestream, Tried it last week and my internet connection is too slow.

I'll comment on one thing from much earlier:

Butterfrees are the sweetest of Pokemon....They are the Fluttershy of pokemon.

Personally, I'd say that honor goes to the Chansey line.

On the topic of the CMC episode summary: It could go either way. I'm not expecting to learn any real secrets, knowing their track record...

Naw, they're just saving their strength for the episode (4 hours plus left!) and I've been busy with my job.

I really really want to gut my Sims 3 blue diamond cushion and turn it into the base for a small Dashie plushie :3 I'd need rainbow-coloured and black/white plushie-cloth to go for the mane and eyes though, and maybe a little more cerulean plushie-cloth. Also the resulting plushie would have less mass than the Sims 3 blue diamond cushion, but I don't care.

In more show-related news, Scoots should be the one to feature in the upcoming episode. I totally call her trying to pry into Dashie's embarassing secrets

That new Cutie Mark Crusaders story sounds very interesting to me, and with potential to be very funny! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing it!

Well since it's dead in here might as well put up Season 1 to compare to

as we can see, much wider dispersion, and also most of the focus episodes still tended to involve more of the Mane Cast as a whole in them then Season 2 focus episodes did.

biggest differences are a much higher amount of Twilight centered episodes and Ensemble ones. CMC had about the same total (one less overall) but all of them focused on them as a group except for the first one which showed how they formed.

Reminds me of the charms in Making Magic, which were differently colored plum bobs.

And I think the CMC already had enough episodes this season. Oh well.

A new episode about the CMC. Sigh... I thought this wouldn't happen again. I love them so much but this show is not about them. They can have thir episodes but it's like they're shoving the scripts from their unaired pilot into this show. I want more ensemble episodes, consarnit!

Oh well, at least it might be interesting.

As my chart showed, this will only be the second CMC episode to be about the CMC as a whole and not an individual foal. And of the other 3, only one was mostly focused on them the other two split there focus. Sweetie with Rarity and one of AB's with Granny Smith.

Really the only CMC centered episode that seems unnecessary to me is Cutie-Pox, the rest, well H&H Day also showed more of Big Mac and Cheerilee and was just plain hilarious, The other two weren't about the CMC but about there family, Sisterhooves focused equally on Rarity, while Famil Day told us more about granny Smith AND showed us the creation of Ponyville.
