I've started playing White all over again. Feel like dusting off Platinum and Heart Gold to do some trade evos and EV training for an Electivire and a Scizor, then transfer them over.

@Mousa Sorry to ask, but do you have ideas for moves for yourself other than Sketch and Spite?

Thanks Applelight. I was lucky enough to be on ponibooru last night when that picture was uploaded. You should see if you can find it, because the full-sized one is like Celestia compared to my avatar.

I've actually managed to get the Japanese version of Soul Silver first (In fact I have an archived Liveblog that went on more or less until I beat the Elite Four once, then it petered out.) and it is strange playing in a language you can barely translate. Good thing they use all hirigana with the odd katakana and no kanji, or it'll be tough to read.

Why learn Japanese? It makes it easier to understand anime in its raw and untranslated form, of course!

I'm sure Twilight should have learnt some foreign languages, I know Rarity has some French (or its Equestrian counterpart) down, and Applejack just calls it Fancy.

Haven't followed Pokemon since I was in middle school.

Man, it's amazing how the show is still going despite the fact that, well, it sucks.

Because it helps Nintendo print money even faster, I guess. (By the way, effort training my pokemon is hard work, it might be less of a chore to grind Effort Feathers from the bridges.)

I'm more amazed at how they haven't run out of ideas for new critters yet.

So, Mousa, your blog post, I know that it's inspired by Dr. Who, but the whole light thing you did, is that from Dr. Who or did you come up with it yourself?

Well, sort of, the idea came from collaborating with the others in the group, but the idea has been used in Dr. Who, specifically in Blink, since you can't see the Angels in the dark they move, so the only stop in brief flashes of light.

Ha, it's official, horses can use brooms!

Oh cool. Good idea on using animation. Quick flashes like that are not meant to be used in the comic medium.

Ok, I have added my movepool to the MLP thread moveset database. Its not a good moveset, but I like it it terms of how it suits me.
