@ Storyteller. yeah everything in it stands on it's own, it's just knowing about Fallout gives an add LOL or two as you recognize what the things in FO:E reference from the game. But it explains everything so that even with no clue you still know what's going on.

Having played Fallout 3 and New Vegas would probably help understand some of the terminology used, and might give a chuckle here and there when you realize what the author is comparing a certain character or thing to, its probably not necessary.

Played and "Beat" both 3 and NV, I find that the author has been very clever in ponifying certain things from that world.

really the biggest WTF pat about ponifing Fallout was how the hell are the ponies using guns with the mouths? drone me nuts till I saw a picture of what the guns look like in the story, they are actually shaped to be held in a mouth, not a hand.

@Drenius Well, the bigger guns are mounted on battle saddles. Only pistols and other small arms are held in the mouth

It IS mentioned that AJ's personal revolver (Little Macintosh) is so powerful that only an EP with her kind of fortification can wield it safely
