To be quite honest I really can't feel that Dash was acting all that much worse then usual in MMDW. Did the way the episode treated her actions really effect people's preception that much?

That's the thing; Squidward's a Deadpan Snarker and Only Sane Man, while Dash is the one who's kind of dumb compared to her friends (mostly Applejack and Twilight). I still like her a lot, though, which is partially why I despised "The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well". The idea was a good one, but the execution was so, so lacking.

^It made her a glory hog; if she'd acted the way she did in MMDW in the pilot, Nightmare Moon would've headed the girls off at the rope bridge.

Considering that she was fully willingly to leave them as soon as they got across. . .

I don't know, maybe I just don't think it is as bad since she is obviously playing to the crowds expectations.

Dashie acted much worse than usual in The Mysterious Mare Do Well. She was pretty bad in May The Best Pet Win, too. Well, at least we got one Dash episode where she wasn't too bad (Daring Do ep of course).

Because conflict is entertaining.

Dashie isn't a complete jerk, her overbearingness and easily-irritable nature is still adorable in a sorta tomboy-tsundere way :3 Also her fangirling is so adorable ^3^

I often find RD's ego amusing. For example, the end of Ticketmaster.

A few things, first, I actually am more in favor of doing it without the stream as I won't have access to a fast internet over the summer.

About Squidward, while I do understand his plight, I actually don't seem to like him as much as the rest of the thread.

I'm ok with jerks as long as their ego comes back to bite them.

The problem with eps like SSCS 6 K is that the amount she suffers is so disproportionate that it ain't even funny

@Badwolf: The episode where she failed to commit petty theft. Plus she just wanted to finish reading it, she started reading it under the bed. She likely was planning to finish it there and not steal it at all. She just panicked when she got caught.

I thought it was pretty funny.

If there is one thing I can say about Dash from first season to second season is that I no longer feel that she is the most immature of the mane six, which made her my least favorite last season.

Is there any other kind of Dashie talk?
