Why does so much technology exist in MLP anyway? And why is it designed for HUMAN use when there don't seem to BE any humans? I know this has been brought up before, but I really wanna know. What, were the designers just too lazy to make the tech look like it's meant to be used by ponies? Did they believe Viewers Are Morons and just not bother with it? Does it conceal some darker truths, or the history of the pony world? And are there aglets in the pony world?

Well, unicorns are very handy with telekinesis, and as for earth ponies... well, it's probably not so much Viewers Are Morons as it is 'we want you to be able to see that this is a stove, so we can't make it unrecognizable, and it's nowhere near vital to the plot so why design a stove usable by ponies anyway?'

Furthermore, how would you re-engineer a stove to be more accessable to ponies?

Remember guys.... Most Writers Are Human. We kind of have this liking to write what we feel appeals to the species instead of the one we're writing about.

It would be very amusing to see someone actually do an inversion and actually have everything fitted for pony use instead of wondering how they get the hooves around the handles of ovens.

I may have gotten a friend of mine hooked on the show. I put that I was a brony on my Deviantart page, he confronted me about it. I showed him the pilot and may have gotten him hooked.

I think what happened was the ponies bought a lot of technology off the humans they met in the Generation 1 cartoons, but as of Friendship is Magic they haven't yet evolved the Powerpuff Girl Hands they have in the Generation 3 and My Little Pony Tales cartoons.

Maybe stuff like human handles actually come from other places?

Like the diamond dogs, for example. They seem perfectly capable of holding them. What if, despite having a seemingly isolationist government, Equestria has trading relations to other kingdoms composed of other species?

Well, that's some stuff I had come up with a few months ago for fanfiction...

Well I figured out that the Desktop Ponies app has tons of sprite animations available for download.

The only problem is that they're three times as big as I need. So much for that.
