Finally finished up the last part of my latest Ask Dusky question. I definitely ended up with about 50% more panels overall than I thought I was going to use.

As always, that's really cute. It looks like you're hinting at a bit of a story arc there. How does that work in an ask blog?

And from my limited experience, usually an appropriate question will set it off (for instance the Epic Mealtime thing with Ask Twilight or I think it was a question about the origins that set off Dr. Adorable's origin story), although it's possible some people might place the arc at the very fore of their blog (but I haven't encountered any like that yet). I'll probably continue to throw hints as appropriate until the right question comes along (a little hint: people who have seen the majority of my work may have noticed the flashbacks seem a little familiar).

^Yeah. Ask Whirly and the Night Guards relied on a direct question to show the characters' pasts, at least.

Which is, admittedly, a bit unfortunate if you're waiting for one.

I have an idea for an arc, but I need the right question to trigger it. There are a few that might, but it's hard to judge the reaction of the internet at large enough to know if I'll be doing anything but hinting.

If you need a specific question, I'd be glad to ask several similarly-worded Anon questions. I'll even vary capitalization and spelling accuracy!

Nah. Doesn't really count if you have to ask for it. Besides, like I said: I've got questions that could lead into it, I just need to decide exactly how I want to play it.

The arc deals with Dumbbell potentially proposing to Hoops, and I've had plenty enough questions about them getting married... The reason it's questionable is because the proposal wouldn't actually happen within the arc at all. In essence both of them want to get married, but for various reasons neither of them is really ready in their relationship just yet.

Events seem to be conspiring to keep me off the forums lately. A few hours ago I logged on to join in the thread, and after roughly a minute had my computer suddenly self destruct due to a sudden virus. It looks like a really bad one, too, don't know if I can do anything about it.

Well, I'm going to bed now, probably shouldn't have bothered posting at all.

Blue, pick up Malwarebytes' anti-virus and Rkill as soon as you can. Rkill especially; it'll give you time to work and run other antivirus programs.
