Speaking of Last Roundup... was I the only person who thought that the Pony who hired Apple Jack was a Brothel Keeper at first? I mean I know she coudlnt have possibly been that because it was a kids show but she just looked like one of those old time Madames.

Personally speaking, the Pilot is probably my least favorite episode. I don't hate it (like I do "Over A Barrel") but it's still....eh.

Also, wasn't "Dragonshy" and ensemble piece?

Yeah, Dragonshy was. I was talking more specifically about season 2. Most of the episodes thus far have focused on individual ponies so much that there isn't as much interaction between the mane cast as there was in the first season. Like we haven't had anything that's comparable to say, "Look Before You Sleep", where the conflict is mostly based on a clash between ponies in the mane cast. It's either always an external event or a new character that causes the conflict.

I was reading the Artistic License - Biology trope page and it mentions the infamous fanfic Cupcakes. Then I realized that it is very ironic for Pinkie, of all ponies, to be portrayed as a carnivorous cannibal, since she's the one who explicitly states that the ponies are vegetarian in her "You Gotta Share" song from Over A Barrel.

Eh, I don't think it's possible to ever work out all possible conflicts. I just want to see them interacting more with each other. Something like Dragonshy would be awesome.

Assuming the year in Equestria is the same length as our own, then it has been at least 290 days since Party of One. Pinkie's birthday is in 75 days.
