Wow! N Ever knew this existed, though I' sure it was inevitable...They should ahve used Parasprites, but otherwise it's basically what I had in mind... but it's missing the excuse plot and the drama that'd make it interesting...

Y'know we haven't seen Celestia do anything that impressive other than shift the sun. We saw her levitate a few things but that's par for the course when it comes to unicorns. Maybe she's not that strong after all

I didn't think that was her. I thought the magic reversed itself when Twilight calmed down

The things is, she's probably spending all her focus on keeping the sun going. If she were to set it down for a moment, as it were, she could probably drop a nuke without breaking a sweat.

Yeah, but at the tims Twilight couldn't even think coherently. And the sheer amount of magic Twilight was generating clearly had no effect on Celestia; she was able to touch her without anything happening.

^Exactly. She's also the one who calmed Twilight down with just a touch.

^Since natural processes do proceed without direct pony intervention - plants grow, rain falls and such (the pegasi schedule rain, but I doubt they spend every rainshower bouncing up and down on clouds all day) - I wonder if Celestia and Luna are just responsible for raising and lowering their respective heavenly bodies, and the motion carries on without their direct attention.

I think levitating the sun and moon is different from normal unicorn levitation. Maybe Celestia plots a course for the sun and pumps it full of magic, she doesn't concentrate on it after that. For some reason i don't think they can move the heavenly bodies too fast or something bad will happen.

But I'm sure even Rainbow Dash could fly... like a butterfly... she would surely understand, understand the concept of love... UH!!

Dammit, even drunk that song makes me feel like breakdancing, and I don't know how to breakdance. I just want to get on the floor and start doing crazy muscularly-intensive stuff. Or run very very very very fast, preferably with obstacles to jump.

Trixie can't even hold a candle to Twilight. Unless she gets a Psycho Serum or other dark-related destructive powerup, I don't see how she could even stand a freaking chance.

She's not scamming folks, she's just exaggerating her own proficiency, but otherwise what you see is what you get. She's rather straightforward...

That's actually what I liked about Trixie: she DOES have talent (not as much as Twilight but regardless), she wasn't pretending or faking her powers at all, just exaggerating them.

Also, how do we know she isn't as inherantly powerful as Twilight? Maybe she just doesn't know as many spells.

To be fair, she never promises anything more than she delivers. She said she beat and Ursa major, but she never told them to go fetch one so she could do it again. A performer gives the inherent promise of entertaining and impressing, which is what she tried to do.

Tried nothing. She did impress them (Snips and Snails anyway i'm not sure about the rest of the crowd) and how could you not find her entertaining?
