I kinda see Twilight as having imaginary relationships with characters in stories to get her by until somepony who can put up with her eccentricities comes along and pulls her back into the real world.

Probably extremely stressful, but not unbearable. But any moment he could decide to do something that would randomly ruin your life or kill you.

Might depend on your mindframe. Pinkie seemed to enjoy it because of the chocolate rain and since she seems to work by her own rules anyway... it might not bother her much. Someone like Fluttershy would probably lose it though.

I think even if he wasn't paying attention to you, it would be pretty much impossible to do anything since you never know when your house may suddenly grow legs and walk away or the roads turn to quicksand etc.

Not to mention the constant crippling fear that Discord might decide one day that he is interested in YOU.

I don't think Discord would ever kill someone. He might teleport you away and make it look like he killed you (to fuck with said pony's family), but killing his subjects strikes me as pretty wasteful. There are so many worse things than death

I think he'd be totally fine with killing, as long as it was just some generic ponies he didn't know personally. He'd do crazy things like suddenly make everything fall up in a certain area, and ponies would die as a result. He'd never know, or care who it was. He probably wouldn't directly kill someone though, unless he thought they were completely unfun.

Even so. He gets off on causing misery and strife. Death would be seen as a way out to a lot of his subjects. I don't think he'd allow ANYONE in his kingdom the satisfaction.

As I said, death IS NOT the worst thing that can happen to you

I think a villain who would want to mercilessly torture millions and then NOT grant them the reprieve of death is worse, but that's just me.

@Ginger: Yeah, but he'd have to be REALLY careful to do his crazy reality warping stuff on a regular basis WITHOUT killing anyone. And what fun would it be to hold himself in restraint? He'd just make sure not to let too many die too often.

@Blue I don't think he'd see it as holding back. Imagine the joy he'd feel at foiling a pony's every attempt to commit suicide. Jumps off a cliff? The ground becomes gelatin. Tries to slit his throat? The knife becomes a bouquet of flowers.

Discord is powerful, but I doubt he can bring anyone back to life. Of course if Ginger's right about him being capable of time travel he could just undo their death.

He'd have to be omniscient to pull that off. If he was omniscient he wouldn't have been beaten.

@Crow which is why I said he'd make it LOOK like he's killed you, only he's just teleported you halfway across the world.

I tihnk he'd have to focus in on one person to do that but I don't think it's a stretch to make his entire world miserable yet safe. So that there's no way you an commit suicide
