I thought Lil Pip was supposed to be the "single optimistic ray" in this whole sordid, cynical tale? Or was I just hearing things and you were all actually saying: "She's a trigger-happy nutcase"?

It was chicken and pizza, so WHY AM I TASTING MINT?!
Somethin' somethin' somethin'

She is the ray of hope. but she also knows better then to let some raiders start shooting first. And really she only opens fire if they attack first or some other pony is in danger, and she does get a bit trigger-happy at one point till she realizes how wrong it was and makes an effort to hold back.
and most of the more aggressive side was earlier till she learned just what was at stake

*sigh* I'm starting to think I should read FO:E, despite having never had a chance to play the games.
Can you think inside the chimney?

Well, yeah, I was expecting that, I just wasn't expecting our supposed "good guy" to be a trigger-happy lunatic.

I've only played Fallout 3 a little bit. It's not necessary I don't think

I'd hardly call her a trigger happy lunatic, there is one incident where she comes to regret opening fire, but it was a misunderstanding and haunts her pretty much the rest of the story

Oh great. Angst.
Please don't tell me there's pages and pages of her wallowing in depression

Nah, mostly they just take up a few sentences.
Tick Tock, goes the clock/ He cradled and he rocked her/ Tick Tock, goes the clock/Till River kills the Doctor.
Yeah it's not angst, it's just, she learns from her mistakes and tries hard not to repeat them.

@ L Mage: Don't worry I can fix your worries. The ponies are not friends they are lovers.

If that's not the synopsis for the final episode I'm probably gonna shoot someone

I'm not sure I'd like Fallout Equestria. On the one hand it seems interesting in some regards, but in other ways, it just doesn't appeal. Plus, I've got a lot on my plate from the remainder of Our First Steps, to The first three Vlad Taltos novels a friend loaned me, to River of Gods, and Nightside of the Long Sun.
