Great, we got a new guy. And I haven't liked with a SINGLE word he's said. This can't be good

What addition?

Ginger: "Fortunately, the Do siblings deduce the nature of the treasure just in time and throw it into Ahuizotl's arms as it activates. Being Nigh Invulnerable, the treasure doesn't destroy him, but it still teleports him far away where he can't immediatley threaten the Do Sisters." was added to the Xanatos Gambit sometime today.
Maybe I'll see it then, Apple. I do enjoy ghost stories after all.

That doesn't sound like much of a gambit.

If I die tomorrow/ I'll be alright/ because I believe/ that after we're gone/ the spirit carries on.
No reference, just thought is sounded cool. Of course me being me I then came up with way to much info on how it could work both in a single story and in the myth arc as a whole, but since my writing skills past broad general ideas well...sucks.....i can't really develop them good.

Blue: Well, that isn't the gambit. I guess someone really wanted to write how the Dos escape it.

Oh. That was me. I added that ages ago though, I figured you already knoew about that. Fine, remove it.

Suggestion for those writing Do fics, why don't you just write the stories and then alter the tropes to fit accordingly?
If I die tomorrow/ I'll be alright/ because I believe/ that after we're gone/ the spirit carries on.
Ginger: Huh, that's weird. I was going over the site last night and I was certain it wasn't there. Maybe I'm just going nuts.

Because then that undermines everything I came up with.
... sorry, I finally had a chance to help write something

@Bluespade: It's harder, but more fun, to have to adhere to the tropes for a change instead of the other way around. =D
Can you think inside the chimney?
Well I have some ideas of how Alicorn's Shadow can go so I want to make sure it doesn't conflict with what the original author thought of. The artifact is a Memory Gem which, regardless of whether it was because of Nightmare Moon's lingering sentiment or a survivor's lament, contained memories of the final battle between Celestia and NMM. It's very vivid and almost real, with soldiers dying and all that. Daring's convinced that it's NMM's lingering curse and had to break out. Pretty much the adventure will be just surviving the battle. This would make the book be pretty dark for a book for children, though. What do you think? Tone it down?
probly a bit dark, since castle / Legacy of NMM is supposed to be the
Darker and Edgier books.
but that gels with my idea, basically that something closely related to Luna / NMM, like a "shadow" of her was left on the battle field and that it's part of what Ahuizotl needs for his "gain NMM's power and conquer the world" scheme.

Ginger: Hmmm, actually, with a small tweak, I think I could make the addition mesh with the idea I had for the artifact. I gotta disappear for a bit, but I'll mull things over and once I have something coherent written down, I'll bounce if off everyone here.
and @ kegi, I think he's the one that made the post about his idea for Gardens, sounds nice, I was kinda hoping someone would tie it into something about creation, of either Equestria or Ponies, and that sounds epic.
Only other Idea I had was that the Gardener has gone a bit odd and literal over the years and now sees any "filthy herbivores" as beasts that will devour the Gardens he is to look after.
