I still say that one of the books has to be Daring-Do and the Shrine of the Silver Monkey. Also, should we put a list of books with mock summaries on the page to keep things consistent? Nothing long; just a sentence or two. Like this:

Daring-Do and the Quest for the Sapphire Stone: After crash-landing in the jungle, Daring Do must elude Ahuizotl and his gang of cats as she attempts to recover the titular stone from an ancient temple.

How's this?: Friendly Rival: Bravado, a dark grey Spanish pony falls under this heading. Like Daring, he is a treasure hunter. Unlike Daring, though, he sells what he finds to the highest bidder. There are no hard feelings between the two, however; they often help when the other is in danger. Subtle hints have been dropped in several books that suggest there may be more than just a rivalry between them...

I added in Fan Nickname since Twilight calls the first book Daring Do and the Sapphire Statue instead of Sapphire Stone.

I like it. It takes the basic plotline with the selling of artifacts that I had for Derring-Do.

So I wonder what Derring's storyline would be like

@kyun the father plot is more about her not living up to his standards and angsting about it.

Derring Do and her have an active rivalry (which was possibly fed by both of their desires to impress their father)

Well, I just saw Hearts and Hooves Day. Finally saw an episode before everyone who gets the Hub. Not going to spoil anything but there is a song in this rpisode. It's a fairly short one, epecially compared to Super Cider Squeezy 6000. Hearts and Hooves Day is the actual name of the holiday in-universe and only one of the Mane Six show up. Also, the CMC borrow a page from Team Rocket's playbook.

Maybe? She does get plenty of screentime and seems a bit more fleshed out but I'm not sure if I'd say it adds any depth to her character.

She's demonstrated to be not as naive/incompetent as previous episodes make her out to be. Throughout I got the feeling she was thinking "I might be naive but I'm not stupid".
