Die for Our Ship exists for a reason. If it can exist on a show like South Park, where, 15 years in, half the main cast still has only tiny characterization, what did you expect on a show built around getting us to love each and every one of the characters?

Elusive is Rarity's opposite sex clone from On a Cross and Arrow. They mack on each other hardcore and it is totally gross. That fanfic would be totally fine if there wasn't so much selfcest.

Also, Ginger, I think you'll like the new episode.

Honestly, I'm not ethically against it or anything, I just thought it was weird and unnatural that so much of the cast was down with it and that no pony raised the obvious "isn't this essentially incest?" question.

Ginger: Kyler's reading Cross and Arrow if I'm not mistaken. And there's some really flagrantly over the top (and in my opinion, totally immersion wrecking) Rarity/Elusive interaction and by interaction, I mean extremely narcissistic selfcest.

Bad: Thanks. And she's making a salad, which backfires spectacularly (part of it is I wanted to do the gag and the other part is a bit of poking fun at myself because I'm prone to bouts of terrible luck and having things go wrong for me completely out of nowhere).

EDIT: Fluttershy and Scotch bugged me. Although not because of the selfcest, but mostly because the execution felt slipshod and rushed. The Twi/Dusk interaction was probably my favourite part of the fic. Although AJ and AJ was pretty good too.

Now, I'm pretty forgiving of opposite-gender-counterpart-from-a-parallel-world shenanigans (I mean, Fluttershy and Butterscotch were alright), but...

Rarity/Elusive was like reading a really, really bad fanfic. Possibly a trollfic, even.

Oh, and I'm at the part where Twilight meets Dusk. It's really heartwarming. Slightly awkward, but heartwarming.

I know, but I'm too jumpy to even read a post without spoiler tags for fear it might give something - anything - away. It looks like this episode is going to be good, and I want the magic to be completely fresh. Even if I were around I'd probably be lurking and peeking through my hands. Besides, I fell behind on homework working on a job lea that went nowhere, so I should take the time to play catchup a bit anyhow.
