I have to wonder who they get to write these things. Whoever they are they must not be getting paid much (though I doubt they would put much effort even if they did).

Interesting that Rarity and Blueblood (Leon?) are dancing on their hind legs. About the only time I remember the ponies doing that in the actual show was the Flim Flam brothers in their song.

@Mio: Probably better that those, because the American fanbase is big enough that they'd get blasted with complaints if it was that low quality. Especially because it's in close enough proximity to the people who make the actual show that they have less of an excuse for screwing it up so badly.

Doesn't Hasbro have deals with IDW for Transformers and G.I. Joe comics? Why not get them to do My Little Pony comics? I think it'd be a great way to market pony stuff for the older fans, have actual tie-in comics!

I don't think that is a good idea.

I just don't think the American comicbook industry is well equipped to do a the series justice. The only way I think it could work is if they really play up the sort of High fantasy aspect of the series.

I just think it'd be nice to have an actual Expanded Universe, and not vectors put together for a 3-5 page foreign magazine that, putting it politely, isn't on par with the show.

If Transformers can have actual comics and video games, why not My Little Pony?

Is Vladmir supposed to be Blueblood?

For some reason I was under the impression that Vladmir was who Rarity was ACTUALLY imagining in Ticket Master, but she ended up spending the night with his his jerkish twin Blueblood
