Ah, but here's the thing, Ginger: You can be asexual, but not aromantic. Asexual people can still enjoy sex, they just have no particular desire for it. In other words Tavi could be completely capable of getting it on with Vinyl, but she does it out of love and wanting to make vinyl happy rather than any lust herself. Which I think is sweet.

Also, I can sort of see you point. Just look to the page image of Cybersix for an example. The girl, obviously. Not the jaguar.

On this wiki, it mentions that the Sesame Street "Don Music" segments got cut out because of fears that kids would imitate the "banging your head on the piano" thing. Then, when My Little Pony does a reference to it, it happens to be Scootaloo, a child pony, doing the "banging the head on the piano" thing. Is that on purpose or just a funny coincidence or some form of Hilarious in Hindsight? I mean that those segments got cut because people were afraid of kids imitating it, and then it gets referenced in a manner that has a kid character doing the piano head banging (not that Scootaloo was consciously imitating Sesame Street, unless they have that in Equestria).

Of course she has canon personality! From her first appearance we can see she is calm, collected, and elegant. When Pinkie interrupts her performance, she rolls her eyes. Of course my performance was just interrupted, she could be thinking. Her actions, no matter how small, speak volumes of her character!

Well yeah, she does have some personality. But that only shows what she's like when she's busy performing at an important and distinguished party. Doesn't give much indication of her overall character.

Anyways, since it's most like just some sort of sex, I say again that asexual people can still have, and enjoy, sex. They just don't have the drive for it the way other people do. I honestly sort of like the idea of an asexual person in a relationship. The idea of someone only having sex to make their partner happy is sweet, to me.

Only example of this I've actually heard sounded like an abusive relationship to me with the asexual guy more or less completely oblivious. Didn't sound healthy to me.

No, see, an asexual person still derives pleasure from sex. It's basically impossible not to - the organs are built that way. What an asexual person lacks is a sex drive. They don't feel the impetus to have sex in the way that sexual people do - no biological urge to reproduce, thus no sexual frustration. The body is still wired to release dopamine on orgasm, and orgasms are still entirely possible. They just lack the desire to have it.
