Anyway, I just want to note that the "cancer pony" has a dark patch where his mane would normally be, which implies that it was shaved off, rather than falling out due to chemo. I'd guess that he's recovering from surgery or something. Pretty much any surgery involves shaving the affected area, so if they were doing anything on his head or neck it explains the shaving.

So another thing that has been on my mind. This show seems to like Stephen Sondheim a lot so what till be the next Jimmy Hart Version from his songbook. I'd love to see Sweeney Todd but I could do with something like Company or Follies.

Also, fun episode. Started like your standard "Reading is great" episode, but once it picked up, it really picked up.

Cancer is just more embedded into the public consciousness, I guess. That and it's typically seen as more of a "death sentence" type of disease than anything else. I dunno.
