^It's very much in character for Twilight, though; being right is one of her big Things, though it doesn't usually come at the expense of others.

So I watched the episode and way annoyed that it was mostly an Indiana Jones pastique. But then I remember that the feel of Indiana Jones was inspired by pulp adventure serials. That's pretty clever, especially since the plot wasn't based on any Indy movie in particular.

I would have liked it better if the book wasn't so cookie cutter, but all in all, ok.

@Ace: Well, that was a few days just for her to be able to go out and move around. She still had to not use it for at least a full week. I once fractured my foot, but I could still walk on it after a few days.

Yeah, he's not that good with Pinkie - "Return of Harmony", "Luna Eclipsed", "Swarm of the Century". His best characters seem to be Rarity and Twilight.

That's true, but I've always had issues when people have stories-within-stories, because they can't be actual good ideas, otherwise they would be writing THAT idea instead.

Bakuman is the only exception I've ever seen.
